Laura Carnell is an award-winning designer offering a bespoke service for the design, specification and construction of contemporary inlaid furniture.

She works sustainably, always aiming to minimise impact on the environment. All of her furniture is made, either from FDC certified trees, or from local, sustainably managed woodlands.

Laura Carnell is a member of the Association of British Pewter Craftsmen and works to incorporate this traditional material into contemporary furniture. She is also a member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen, and regularly shows work with them in London. She has a grounding in painting, printmaking and ceramics, and with a keen interest in philosophy, brings conceptual thinking to her craft work.
